About this job

This is an amazing opportunity for a part qualified accountant to join us as our Income and Gift Aid Accounts Assistant and to be supported in your studies towards a ACCA Level 7 qualification through our apprenticeship scheme.

You must have previous experience of undertaking complex account reconciliations work, application of basic financial accounting and using a mid-tier accounting system.

In order to qualify for the apprenticeship, you must be a part qualified accountant and have completed no more than 50% of the ACCA Level 7 qualification. The successful candidate’s eligibility to enrol as part of the apprenticeship scheme will be checked as part of our offer of employment.

We offer 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

The MS Society is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on our great history and will drive us towards achieving our mission and vision as we embark on our new 5 year strategy.

As part of this exciting transformation, we’ll be moving from our current National Centre based in Cricklewood, London to Finsbury Park, London later this year. We’re expecting to be moving into our new office from August 2021.

Closing date: 9am on Friday 2 July

We are committed to promoting equality and diversity.

We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities and/or from ethnic minority backgrounds, where we’re looking to build stronger and better representation among our staff.

As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, the HR team will anonymise your CV and supporting statement before forwarding to the shortlisting panel.  We’re a Disability Confident Employer.
