Due to growth within our Extra Care service, we’re currently looking two Extra Care & Support Assistants to join us on a full-time or part-time basis.

The Role
As an Extra Care & Support Assistant, you will provide an excellent care and support service to our customers at Miners Court, a community of older people, as well as some younger residents with learning and physical disabilities.
Based in the centre of Redruth, Miners Court consists of 64 flats and has colleagues on-site 24 hours a day.
You will provide unobtrusive care and support, including all aspects of personal care and daily living, to individuals in their own home. You’ll ensure their needs and preferences are met while working in a flexible, respectful and caring manner.
About You
To join us as an Extra Care & Support Assistant, you will need:
- A diploma and/or NVQ Level 2, ideally 3, qualification in Health and Social Care (or the willingness to gain this)
- Great communication skills
- A caring and empathetic approach
- A positive attitude
This role is available working 18.5 hours or 37 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, on a two week rolling rota.
