We are working with a leading local company as they look to recruit Customer Engagement Advisors to join the existing dynamic team.
Permanent position
Based in Scunthorpe
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Salary GBP18500-GBP20000 p.a.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for providing a professional customer service experience. We are looking for a team player who will prioritise, multi-task and manage their time effectively.
As part of the team, they will be contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the Internal Sales and Customer service function working closely with the external team to maximise sales opportunities and profitability whilst providing a professional service to customers at all times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Effective communication with customers regarding pricing, stock availability and expected delivery timescales by incoming/outgoing telephone call or email
* Administrative support to the external sales team to ensure all orders are placed, acknowledged, and despatched in an accurate and timely manner
* Upsell and/or cross sell across all product brands
* Communicating with couriers for updates and information
* Outbound calling campaigns to existing and prospective customers
* Seeking new opportunities within an existing customer base
* Produce quotations
* Any other ad hoc duties that may arise
Essential Criteria:
* Sales office experience
* Outbound calling/campaign experience
* Deliver Outstanding customer service
* Excellent listening & verbal skills with the ability to identify the customer issue
* Dispute resolution and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Team player and a positive attitude towards new and existing challenges
* Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
Desirable Criteria:
* Customer Services & Sales background
* Building trade experience
* Previous experience of Sage 200 & Salesforce preferred
