Brighton and Hove Football Club have an exciting opportunity for a Matchday Safety Steward to join their team.

Location: American Express Community Stadium, Brighton

Salary: GBP9.50 per hour

Hours: Zero hours

Job Type: Worker agreement, fixed term ending 22nd May 2022

Matchday Safety Steward - The Role:

We are looking for a pool of stewards who would be available to work home matchdays when required. Our stewards assist the Club in the effective, safe customer friendly management of matchday and events at the Stadium.

Matchday Safety Steward - Key Responsibilities:

Your top priority would be to ensure that all our fans are in safe hands whilst visiting the American Express Community Stadium on a matchday. We take our customer service seriously and our fans are at the heart of everything we do. With this in mind, your day will be varied as you adapt to the fan's needs. You never know what a matchday might throw at you, so you will need to have the ability to work well under pressure.

Although matchdays have been a little different at the moment, there is still the excitement, adrenaline and anticipation from working a matchday at the Albion! This is a fantastic, flexible opportunity for you to play your part and run with us. The Albion are known for our culture and values leading the way, and the right people will need to fit into that. You'll work hard, but the great thing about football is that you'll see the results.

Matchday Safety Steward - You:

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be 18 years and over. Don't worry if you haven't got experience or qualifications in security as we provide you with all the training you need prior to starting! This is a customer facing role so you will need to be able to deliver and maintain high levels of enthusiasm and customer service throughout your shift. You won't be able to watch the match whilst working, so if you are currently a season ticket holder, please be aware of this.
