This is a great opportunity for you to join one of the UK's most trusted social housing providers.

Our client owns and manages 30,000 homes across the West Midlands, including diverse communities from urban tower blocks to rural villages and towns; but they provide more than housing - their homes are a foundation for life.

They are proud to be an organisation which deals directly with the consequences of their housing crisis by providing homes for people who can't access them on the market.

They are a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity. All the money we make goes back into improving their homes and services and building new homes so that they can help more people.

Working for them not only offers you the chance to work for an award-winning, big-hitting organisation in the West Midlands, it gives you the opportunity to work for an organisation with a heart and a clear social purpose.

It doesn't matter which function you work in, being part of their team will give you the chance to play your own part in making a very real difference to people's lives.

To join them you will have the ability to take ownership and responsibility for delivering a consistently high level of service within your team and across the business as a whole. You'll be positive, optimistic and solutions-focused in everything you do even in the face of challenges, and you will believe passionately in the social value derived from delivering outstanding services to their customers and colleagues.

They are looking to recruit a Senior Lettings Advisor to join the Allocation and Lettings Team based in Worcester. The role will cover the allocations and lettings in Hereford, Worcester and surrounding areas.

This post is responsible for delivering the allocations function to a high quality, being customer focussed and achieving sustainable allocations with a particular focus on new build properties.

Ensuring that new build properties are let in accordance with the allocations policy and within the minimum timescales to achieve targets.

*

Delivering sustainable lettings through an effective pre-tenancy assessment and sign up process to ensure that customers understand conditions of tenancy and that new tenants can sustain their tenancies.

*

Ensuring that processes work effectively to deliver high quality services, customer satisfaction and value for money.

*

In conjunction with colleagues and the Team Leaders, make recommendations regarding the future provision of homes, including schemes proposed by the Development Team.

*

Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key internal customers and external partners and customers to achieve business objectives

You will be skilled at achieving performance results, demonstrating an ability to achieve performance objectives. This is a pivotal role within their Allocations and Lettings Team.

They are keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate experience in a similar role and are able to encourage innovation and creativity within the team to achieve positive outcomes for their customers. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, act with integrity and show drive and enthusiasm.

So, if you think you have the technical know-how and can demonstrate the people skills they're looking for, they really want to hear from you.

They are committed to diversity and inclusion, encourage flexible working where appropriate and positively welcome applications from everyone.

They are committed to protecting people's health, wellbeing and human rights. They adopt a proactive approach to safeguarding and do everything they can to make sure all individuals accessing their services can do so without fear of harm, abuse or neglect. They have policies and procedures in place to try to make sure the people they support are protected from harm and as part of their recruitment process they carry out robust safeguarding checks.
