Front of House Receptionist / Concierge

LAH provide front of house receptionists for commercial properties, working with Landlords, Investors and Property Management Companies.

We have a new opportunity for a Front of House Receptionist/Concierge, working in a modern office, near Mount Ephraim and just a short walk from the town centre.

We are looking to recruit a full time Receptionist but for the right candidate(s), will consider a job share/part time reception team.

You should be an experienced Receptionist, immaculately presented and able to work independently but collaboratively with a reception team in an adjacent building. An important part of the role requires creativity and good pc/software skills, enabling you to drive and communicate a programme of added value/concierge initiatives for the tenants - helping to create a community vibe at the office complex.

The role

You will provide a front of house reception service, with additional responsibilities:

Reception responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting all visitors to the building to ensure a warm welcome- become the 'face of the building'
  • Manage reception sign-in processes
  • Follow all associated Covid safe guidelines
  • Manage deliveries - including couriers and post
  • Assist with the management of contractors and ensure any maintenance issues are reported and managed to resolution.
  • If applicable, you will support the sales and leasing agents by ensuring any vacant space is looking pristine and provide a hospitable welcome to potential new occupiers
  • General Administration to support to the off site Building Manager/Landlord as required

Concierge/Added value responsibilities

  • You will develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file.
  • You will assist with the research, development and communication of a programme of initiatives and concierge services aimed at delivering a community vibe and increasing the enjoyment for all those who work at the offices complex. (When permitted and in the future - this may include weekly exercise classes, larger seasonal events, and pop-up activity).
  • You will produce a weekly report for key stakeholders.
  • You will create and develop an e: newsletter for tenants
  • You will work collaboratively with the reception team in the adjacent building to develop the initiatives and drive participation but will be responsible for creating and leading the creative communication (e newsletter etc).

About you

  • You will be personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
  • Immaculately presented with proven experience in a similar role
  • You will be self-motivated and willing to undertake the added value /concierge initiatives as part of the reception role.
  • You should have excellent communication skills
  • You should be a competent PC user and must be confident using Microsoft Office and social media applications
  • You should be creative and be confident in using creative software packages
  • Be willing to learn any in-house systems
  • You will be able to start by mid/end June 2021

The hours and salary

Full time: Working Monday- Friday, 8.30 - 5.30

(with flexibility to take short breaks avoiding busy times - and working with the reception team in the adjacent building to provide mutual cover for breaks)

Part time: we will consider a job share team, working 2.5 days each. Eg Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning / Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.

Salary: GBP26,325 pa full time (pro rata part time ie GBP13,162.50 pa)
