Sustainability and Reporting Coordinator (maternity cover)

About us

Here at Suma we've been doing things a bit differently for over 40 years. Not only in our mission to supply everything vegetarian, ethical and sustainable, but also in how we are run.

Suma is a worker co-operative; a business owned and run by the nearly 200 members who work here. We're a group of ordinary people who have built a business on principles of integrity and equality. Suma's employees work together to collectively set the direction of the business - there's no shareholders and no traditional 'bosses'. Everyone at Suma gets paid the same wage, takes personal responsibility and does a range of jobs each week.

Using their influence and inter-departmental networking skills, the Sustainability and Reporting Coordinator (cover) will lead the development, communication and implementation of an ambitious Sustainability Strategy across Suma. In order to secure engagement and embed a culture of sustainability across the co-op, they will need to work closely and collaboratively at all levels within Suma.
