The role
The purpose of this role is to assist the involvement team to deliver its strategic objectives for involving residents and developing communities, improving neighbourhoods and creating a community that is vibrant, helping residents to make a difference.
It has the following main responsibilities;
*
Facilitate a wide range of involvement and engagement techniques to ensure that customer influence is effective in improving services in a demonstrable way.
*
To lead on the scoping and coordination of community development projects and initiatives in identifying priority areas.
*
Engage with communities, establish agreement for appropriate engagement and provide support to the different needs of different communities, particularly among 'hard to reach' groups.
*
Recruit, train and manage a range of volunteers in relation to community engagement activities and involvement including the development of personal plans and implementation of the 1-2-1 process.
What our client need
For this role you'll need to have the following skills and experience;
*
Educated to A-level standard
*
Experience in designing and delivering customer involvement programmes that are tailored and meaningful to the business and customers.
*
Knowledge and experience of working in a customer focused environment
*
Experience and knowledge of managing a range of events for diverse groups including marketing, effective communications and risk assessment
