Our client is looking for a Regional Operations Manager to look after the day to day operations of a large portfolio of cleaning contracts for their public sector based clients throughout the South West Region.

Description
The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of cleaning contracts across a public sector client base in the South West region.
The role will be heavily client facing so you will be out in the field getting across your portfolio to meet your staff and to carry out site audits and client meetings.
You will have day to day responsibility for the operational management and delivery of each of your contracts and you will need to ensure that these are managed financially responsibly and in line with the contractual agreements with the clients. This will involve the day to day people management of your area managers and assisting them with staff performance, development and recruitment.
Client relationships will be integral to your success in the role so you will work closely with the senior management team to ensure that you are developing and maintaining an effective and positive working relationship with your clients. You will also be involved in the growth aspect of the business too and will assist the business development team with attending face to face meetings with perspective clients.
Profile
To be considered for this Regional Operations Manager you will need to meet/demonstrate the following criteria:
Have prior experience of working within the soft services/cleaning industry and have managed a portfolio of cleaning based contracts
Have excellent client relationship relationship skills
Demonstrate sound financial management skills
Hold a full UK driving licenseThis is a field based roles covering sites in the Exeter, Bristol and South Wales region. The ideal location for a candidate to be living would be somewhere along the M5 between Bristol and Exeter.
Job Offer
A salary of GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 plus a car or car allowance is on offer
