About the role:

The Apprentice Bid Writer is an important part of the Bidding Team. The main purpose of the role is to support Senior Bid Writers/Solution Leads as directed. You will be involved in the preparation and completion of prequalification and tender submissions. You will be required to liaise and work closely with the wider bid team to develop and complete written responses to bids and you will also provide input to prequalification and tender submissions. This will also include attending meetings, storyboard and review sessions. Always working in a timely manner and to robust deadlines in accordance with agreed deliverables.

With good stake-holder management skills, you will liaise with appropriate departments and specialists to obtain the relevant information that you need. Researching will also be of interest to you. Supporting the development and maintenance of a SharePoint library of information will also be under your remit. This will include continually challenging existing protocols and practices and contributing to continual improvement, enhancing the success of tenders and overall company performance. Your written findings will always be presented to the highest standard. They will be clear, compliant and customer focused.

About You:

A highly motivated individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A team player, who contributes continually. Researching and presenting your ideas come naturally as well as being able to work to tight deadlines, obtaining satisfaction when reaching the required goal. You will also have the ability to work well under pressure, be super organised and will need to manage and prioritise your own workload, ensuring all deadlines are met and work is submitted on time. You will be based out of any of our depot locations, however, you will be flexible to work away at one of our alternate Chevron depots as needs require.

Qualifications & Skills:
