Onsite Fitter / Welder
Our Client is looking to recruit a Lead Installer, to join a well-established Manufacturing and Production company based in West Bromwich.
The Lead Installer will be fitting crash barriers, pedestrian barriers, passive sign supports and pedestrian parapets on and off site.
Some key attributes which are required by the Lead Installer are listed below:
* FISS/CSCS blue card (parapet/VRS installers) as a minimum.
* SSSTS certification (preferable)
* First aid certification (preferable)
* Willing to work away up to 5 nights a week (Monday-Friday) across the UK, staying in same room as teammate.
* Weekends/nights are required but notice will be given.
* Be able to lead the team, carry out briefings before start of works, interact with our clients in a professional manner.
* Capable of using a smartphone - all the client's site paperwork, drawings, forms etc. are now on an app.
* Driving licence - Essential
* Able to read and understand a technical drawing.
* Good timekeeping skills.
The pay rate if the applicant matches the above would be - GBP13 p/h. Pay review would occur once imbedded within the company and candidate is able to deliver a high standard of work, day in, day out
