Senior Planning Officer (Enforcement)
Maidstone
Full-time contract
5-Month contract
GBP32+/Hour
This role is focused on dealing with formal enforcement actions to help reduce a back log of cases caused by Covid.
Applicants must be progressing to membership of the RTPI or already a member.
Responsibilities:
Appraise and evaluate enforcement complaints and breaches of planning control.
Advise or assist in advising members of the planning committee.
Attend the Planning Committee meeting from time to time to present cases.
Compose and explain the case in Court proceedings.
Assist Principal Planning Officer and Development Manager in the monitoring and approval of work of the Enforcement Team.
Establish and maintain contact with complainants.
Undertake effective negotiations.
Carrying out of default action to rectify a breach of planning control on site.
Site visits.
Qualifications:
RTPI accredited degree.
Driver's license with access to your own vehicle.
