Environmental Compliance Officer (Contaminated Land)

We are looking to recruit an Environmental Compliance (Contaminated Land) officer to join the team. The role delivers all contaminated land consultation and investigations, including supporting the Environmental Compliance team's response to planning applications and response to external Environmental Information Requests (EIR) and Freedom of Information Requests (FOI). This role also has a proactive element in relation to the Council's responsibilities under Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

Environmental Compliance Officer (Contaminated Land) Requirements:

The successful candidate will be educated to degree standard (or equivalent) with the relevant Environmental Health qualifications.
You will need to have specialist experience in contaminated land to work in this highly motivated team and a good grasp of relevant environmental legislation.
Good communication and ICT skills are essential to success in this role.

Type: Permanent, Part time (18.5hrs)

Salary: 18,774 to GBP20,751 (based on part time 18.5 hours per week). Plus up to 18.5% employer pension contribution.
