Residential Support Worker
Nottinghamshire
ABC Teachers are currently recruiting qualified Residential Support Workers for Residential Care roles with children and young people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire area.
About the role:
Building a strong rapport with young people in order to support them and meet their emotional and developmental needs.
Create a nurturing, caring and positive environment.
Providing support with school, daily activities and life in the community to young people in the home
Variety of shifts available, flexible to fit in around your current commitments. We are recruiting for both full and part time roles.
About the setting:
Modern 2-4 bedded settings where a home environment is created for Children and young people.
Positive and inclusive team ethos, where you will work alongside a supportive management and staff team.
Well established company, where the needs of the children always come first
About You:
Hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce (or very similar)
Be a caring and calm individual, have a genuine passion for helping young people!
Be resilient and have excellent communication skills
Able to work effectively as part as a team, and also on your own initiative
Hold a full, UK, manual driving licence.
Be over 21 years old.
