An experienced Data Entry Officer with previous knowledge of HR or Payroll systems is required to provide support to the HR team in driving forward the move to iTrent. You will enter data onto a new iTrent system whilst running the existing system in parallel until both systems balance before going live in September.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintaining accurate data on employee records held on the iTrent system.

2. Supporting the 'establishment control' process, which includes maintaining high quality and robust data on posts, the establishment and the hierarchy held on the iTrent system.

3. Entering, recording and adjusting HR and payroll records on the Authority's computer databases and systems.

4. Extracting post and employee data from the iTrent system to assist in producing management information and performance data, including the use of computer query tools.

5. Assisting with the review and audit of data in the HR information system

6. Assisting with the administration of user security profile tasks and access rights associated with the HR data systems.

7. Assisting with the programme of work needed to deliver the objectives of the iTrent system.

8. Contributing to developing new processes and operational changes to optimise the use of the iTrent system.

9. To undertake projects commensurate with the grade and duties of the post as required by the HR Management Team.

The successful candidate should have experience of working with IT systems and databases to ensure the recording and maintenance of accurate and high quality data.

Experience of inputting, amending and extracting data from data systems

Experience in using Microsoft Office software and internet/intranet technologies.
