Temp to Perm Opportunity - Immediate Start - NEW PASSES WELCOME!
Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking an enthusiastic Class 2 Driver to join their busy team on a temp to perm basis.
What's on offer
* Upon successful completion of your 12 week temp to perm assignment, your permanent placement at the customer will attract a salary circa GBP - GBP p/a.
* There are numerous shift patterns available, you choose which one best fits around your lifestyle & commitments.
* Weekdays/Weekends (our customer operates 24/7/365) e.g. you could choose Tuesday - Saturday and so on.
* Start times vary between 4:am up to 12 Midday
* The customer requires a driving assessment prior to commencement of T2P
Job Details
* Deliver in a safe & timely manner chilled/ambient/frozen foods (caged) to convenience stores in the North
* Possibility of up to 8 deliveries per day
* 60% will be 'drop & drive'
* 40% will be handball
* To ensure that you provide an efficient & prompt service at all times
Driver Requirements
* Full CAT C (Class 2) licence with valid digital tacho and full CPC
* NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME
* Licence with no more than 6 points (NO SERIOUS OFFENCES)
* Understanding of driver hours and regulations
* Good geographical knowledge
* Punctual, presentable, good communication and customer service skills
* Due to the nature of the role, previous experience with multi drop delivery would be beneficial
* Handball involved - good level of fitness required
PAY
* Monday to Friday - GBP15.00 p/h
* Saturday - GBP17.00 p/h
* Sunday - GBP20 p/h
* Rates advertised are PAYE
As a temporary to permanent opportunity, you will initially join Driver Hire Manchester West and be paid on a weekly basis. Upon successful completion of your temporary period, you would then transfer to the company as a permanent employee.
