With approximately 24,000 employees, the company serves real estate owners, investors and occupiers through more than 300 offices worldwide.We are looking for a mobile multi-skilled engineer to work as required, attending to reactive, planned maintenance and fabric tasks for our client.
Key responsibilities-
* Responsible for completing Planned Preventative Maintenance in line with task schedules and industry best practices ensuring task completed on time with full documentation compliance.
* Responsible for attending and completing day to day reactive calls, including but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fabric tasks, within core skill set and SLA.
* Ensure that all relevant Log books, Service records, and safety documentation is compiled and recorded to ensure that the site is compliant at all times.
* Be familiar with all main plant normal operating parameters and proactively monitor conditions.
* Ensuring that engineering supplies are ordered in a timely manner and are appropriate to the maintenance / reactive task being carried out to aid SLA targets for works completion.
* Actively identify innovation to enhance performance and continue to meet client expectations.
* To proactively communicate, both verbally and electronically, in order to receive instruction and provide feedback where necessary. This includes daily checking of individual email accounts.
* Take ownership of all plant rooms, risers and other areas under the responsibility of company, and ensure they are locked at all times (where appropriate) and kept in a clean and tidy condition, with waste disposed in accordance with Site rules.
* Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements.
* Proactively report hazards, as and when they arise.
* Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
* To adhere to the local uniform requirements and comply with all PPE requirements, as outlined in the site specific risk assessments.
* Where company vehicle is provided, vehicle to be kept clean and serviceable and driven in line with company vehicle policy.
* Maintain the professional image of CBRE and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times promoting and maintaining the core values of CBRE.
* Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all CBRE employees and client's representatives.
* Other duties in line with requests from the Supervisor or management team as appropriate.
Contract Support Responsibilities
* To participate in an OOH's call-out rota ensuring emergency cover is in place and respond as required.
* Assisting in maintaining compliance on all log books, including H&S.
* Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance, ensuring company processes and procedures are followed where this applies.
* Work OOH (by agreement) to assist in the supervision of specialist maintenance and ad-hoc activities - for which you will be paid at the overtime rate.
* Provide holiday and sickness cover for site based engineer as required.
Qualifications
* Required = Full clean drivers licence
* Required - City and Guilds or equivalent Electrical qualification
* Required - 17th Edition including latest modules
* Desirable - City and Guilds test and inspect
* Desirable - PAT
* Strong understanding of QHSE competence and compliance
