An experienced paraplanner is required by a well-respected wealth management firm based in Altrincham. Salary iro GBP35,000 plus excellent benefits, this is flexible for the right person.
This is a key role in the firm and could see you develop your career and become Financial Planner with the firm.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and maintain client files.
- Collect and analyse client data.
- Discuss client objectives with IFAs and Identify and prioritise client's needs.
- Identify areas for planning, prepare & implement recommendations.
- Undertake research and identify appropriate solutions.
- Prepare accurate suitability letters in accordance with agreed recommendations.
- Complete client review reports.
- Prepare draft recommendation reports to be discussed/signed off by IFAs.
- Complete applications/proposal forms where required.
- Ensure all files are compliant, both advice and administration.
- Make changes to clients' investment portfolios upon instruction.
The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity will have/be:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning CII or equivalent
- At least two years industry experience
- Experience of using Defaqto research tools
- An understanding of model portfolio fund research and analysis
- An understanding of Health & Safety at work, Date Protection and Money Laundering
- Broad and current knowledge of the financial services and financial planning
- Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, technical capability
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage workflow and communicate effectively
- Be enthusiastic, approachable and cheerful
