We are a market leader in the engineering and manufacturing sectors and due to our company growth plan, we are looking to add to our existing team within the warehouse and operations department.

We are seeking a Warehouse and Stock Operations Co-ordinator to start ASAP initially on a 6-month fixed term contract, but this could be extended or indeed go permanent. We work Mon-Fri 8.30am- 5pm, with an equivalent salary of GBP22k to GBP26k dependant on experience with onsite parking.

As the Warehouse and Stock Operations Co-ordinator you will manage the Stores/Warehouse functions, which includes booking goods in/out, shipping and raising associated documentation, liaising with internal and external project stakeholders.

Your main duties as Warehouse and Stock Operations Co-ordinator your main duties will involve as listed below:

Organisation of both the Stores and Warehouse function on a day-to-day basis.
Goods inwards, GRN's and goods inwards inspection
Stock Control and Bi-annual Stock Count
Dispatch, including packaging of goods and liaising with packaging contractors, including DG
Coordinating with Shipping Agents, completion of shipping documentation as required, scheduling of shipping activities.
Control of all traceable products
Provide data on stock turnover, inventories, and expenditures and financial reconciliation's (in close liaison with Finance Team)
Communicate with engineering, purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability.
Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability.
Raise POs
Managing material requirements, placing purchase orders, and following through with suppliers on delivery schedules to meet our contractual client agreements.
To be considered for the Warehouse and Stock Operations Co-ordinator you will have experience working within a Stores/Warehouse role, ideally from an Engineering/manufacturing discipline, experience in organising a stores/workshop facility and hold a current Counterbalance Fork Truck License.

You should have experience of using computer-based stock management systems and solid PC skills and can manage Inventory/Stock, have good customer/service focused and be able to deal with enquiries. You will be confident to work in a stand-alone role within warehouse and stores area.
