Logistics Coordinator (12-month FTC)

Toshiba Air Conditioning now has an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Plymouth on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The main goal of this role is to provide logistics and transport coordination to support the Carrier, Toshiba and CIAT UK brands. The role will be based at our distribution centre in Plymouth.
What will I be doing as a Logistics Coordinator?
Processing logistics shipment requests
Inventory control & management to meet customer demand
Raising factory purchase orders, and organising deliveries to specific schedules
Issue daily manifests for shipments to UK customers
System administration: e.g. update of purchase order details
To be successful in this role you will:
Ideally have a background in Logistics/Transport Coordination
Have excellent communication skills
IT Literate - experience with Excel/MS office
Knowledge/experience in the HVAC sector beneficial
Knowledge of Oracle, AS400 or Sage ERP systems beneficial but not essential
