Hours: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP24,000 (dependent on experience)

What will my role look like?

As a Retail Systems Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact to those requiring Retail IT support, whether it be staff from our site locations or staff from our Head Office. This is a telephone/email based role that requires a high level of care and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for logging, resolving and escalating support requests made via our ticketing system and answering / resolving phone calls made to the helpdesk.

What would my main responsibilities be?

• Handling phone calls, if deemed a priority it would be dealt with immediately
  
  • If not, ask the user to log a ticket on the helpdesk website
• Working through tickets in priority order
• Chasing up historic tickets & issues
• Assisting Head Office staff with routine issues
• On-going maintenance of databases
• Setting up new sites on the relevant retail and Head Office systems

Do I have what it takes?

• IT Degree is essential
• Previous IT experience is required, preferably working on a service desk
• EPOS knowledge is preferred but not essential
