Michael Page Logistics have partnered with a Leading 3PL business, specialising in E-Commerce distribution in their search for a Interim Warehouse Operations & Contract Manager. This role will play a critical part in delivering the businesses peak during the remainder of 2021.

The successful candidate for this role must be immediately available and able to start within 1 weeks notice.

Description

The Interim Warehouse Operations & Contract Manager role will require the individual to:

• Report to the Site General Manager.
• Manage a team of 40+ operatives through 3 direct reports, at a Shift Manager level across various shifts.
• Be responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations.
• Be responsible for the day to day interactions with the customer/s.
• Have full control of the operating budget for headcount.
• Be responsible for the inventory management through your teams.
• Full site H&S control.
• Accountable for people development and performance management within the operation.
• Commutable to Leicester.

This role would suit a candidate that has worked in a; Warehouse Shift Manager, Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, Depot Manager, Site Manager or General Manager role previously.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Interim Warehouse Operations & Contract Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:

• A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
• A minimum of 2+ years Logistics experience at an Operations Manager or Contract Manager level - Essential.
• Have worked within a 3PL / E-Commerce / Retail / FMCG environment previously - Advantageous.
• Have managed in excess of 30+ employees indirectly before - Essential.
• Be results driven and commercially minded.
• Be commutable to Leicester.

Job Offer

This role offers:

• Salary - GBP35,000 to GBP45,000.
• Plus additional company benefits.
