Advanced Supply Chain Group are looking to appoint a counterbalance FLT Driver to load and unload trailers and containers within a fast-paced environment. You will be working 40 hours across Monday - Friday with a shift pattern of 2pm until 10pm. You will join us on temp-to-perm basis initially, and in return, we can offer a competitive rate of GBP10 per hour, alongside solid career progression and generous benefits package!
Key responsibilities of a Counterbalance FLT Driver:
- Unloading & sorting containers quickly and accurately
- Unloading & sorting palletised deliveries quickly and accurately
- Ensuring all shunts are tipped in a timely fashion ready for picking
- Utilising all FLT's in a safe manner in line with H & S policy
- Ensuring that all picking is done accurately in full, in sequence and on time
- Ensuring that all outbound stock is checked, loaded accurately and despatched on the system
- Utilising any other manual handling equipment in line with usage guidelines and H & S
- Ensuring that all stock located is done so accurately following the WMS system
- Undertaking PI checks as directed by management
- Ensuring that all goods are checked in / sorted effectively to minimise stock / production errors
- Maintaining all stock in an acceptable condition and ensure stock is placed in racking safely
- Ensuring that hanging stock is tipped accurately and counted accurately
- Undertaking stock queries through to completion
- Stocking take accurately and effectively
- Complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining good General Housekeeping standards at all times in both the warehouses and yard
- Undertaking any other duties which may be required to assist the needs of the business as directed by management
Skills and experience required for Counterbalance FLT Driver:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Excellent analytical skills
- F.L.T. Licence (Counter Balance/Reach)
- PPL licence
- Level Order Picker licence
- Competent in Maths and English
- Experience of using an automated warehouse management system and scanners etc.
- Experience of using Reach trucks with extending mast
- Experience of using double deep racking
