Our client is a service provider to the automotive and manufacturing industries and their customers have been relying on them for over 50 years.
You will be responsible for providing supporting Supervisors and Managers on a full range of Employee Relations issues, including sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance, redundancies, restructures, mobilisation, and demobilisation (TUPE) of contracts.
Our clients are people who get things done, problem solvers, allrounders and they are great at dealing with emergencies where necessary. But above all, they are there to help
This role is based at their Head Office in Tile Hill, Coventry and will support multiple sites in the Midlands. Weekly travel is required to the sites you will support (once lockdown restrictions start to ease) so you will need to hold a full UK drivers license.
The role offers the opportunity to continue your development within a generalist role but also be involved in developing HR policies, delivering workshops to upskill their management teams and supporting with the implementation of strategic HR projects.
If you have experience of:
* Managing complex Employee Relations case work, including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management. This includes dismissals and supporting in appeal hearings
* Providing commercially focused advice and guidance
* Thorough up to date knowledge of current employment law
* Supporting change management, such as redundancies and restructures
* Ideally, but not essential, previous experience of managing TUPE.

* Prioritise and work to deadlines within a changing environment
* Be resilient with the ability to deal with difficult situations
* Handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
* Deal with confrontational situations and stand ground when faced with adversity
* Be commercially focused, understanding our business and the needs of our customers.
