Yard/Logistics Supervisor - Construction - Freelance

Your new role
Yard Supervisor required to organise the Inbound (from production facility) and outbound rail and road logistics, ensuring the quality of product during loading and transportation
Managing stock movements around the storage yard facility ensuring accurate and up to date information is logged in a fast-moving environment
Engaging with the customer on a day to day basis regarding delivery requirements and ensuring delivery quantities are met, whilst maintaining high levels of vehicle utilisation and low complaints and queries.???
Manage general housekeeping; ensuring that the highest standards are maintained
Role modelling an exemplary approach to Health and Safety, contributing proactively to a safe working environment and working collaboratively to lead a culture of continuous improvement
Hours of work: 06:00-16:00
