Role: HCPC/NMC Registered - Disability Analyst

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP38,500 pa OTE, Full and Part Time roles available.

Clinical Staff groups: NMC Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD), HCPC Registered Physiotherapists, HCPC Registered Occupational Therapists (OT) and HCPC Registered Paramedics.

Merco are proudly recruiting in partnership with Independent Assessment Services (IAS) to offer candidates this exciting opportunity to work permanently and directly for IAS on the DWP's Personal Independent Payment contract. The role will require you to use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct independent health assessments and write reports for the DWP. Although not a decision-making role, you will be using and honing your critical reasoning skills and drawing upon your experiences, skills & knowledge to ensure that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified and professional.

Previous experience as is Disability Assessor is not required as you will be fully trained to do the role, however, Government legislation requires you to have at least 18 months' post qualification work experience in one of the above Nursing or AHP disciplines working with people aged 16 - 64.

NB A Driving licence is no longer required for these roles.
