Maintenance Technician required for a manufacturing facility in the Manchester region. Ideally you will have experience within Plastics/Packaing or Chemicals and Related Fields

Mintenance Technician (Electrical bias)
Location: South Manchester
Salary: cGBP38,000
SRG is working with a chemical manufacturer to source a Maintenance Technician for their team. The Maintenance Technician will work in the maintenance team to carry out PPM, reactive and installation of electrical equipment.

Role description:
* Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment is maintained
* Promote safe working at all times
* Testing equipment in accordance with electrical regulations
* Installation of new equipment according to strong SHE standards
* Ensure all appropriate paperwork is prepared including risk assessments, lifting plans and new procedures

Requirements:
* Time served Engineer
* Strong Electrical / Mechanical skills
* Familiarity with a continuous manufacturing environments
* C&G / NVQ3 / HNC/D qualifications
