About The Role
Sunbelt Rentals - Hoists is proud to be an integral part of a FTSE 100 Business (formerly Hoist-It Ltd & GB Access Ltd combining over 65 years' experience in the hoist rental industry) are the UK's leading hoist rental specialist. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hoist-Installer to join our external operations team, your primary role will be installing, dismantling and maintaining our hire fleet of rack and pinion construction hoists.
Our highly skilled national specialist hoist team support customers in planning, configuring and supplying hoists to meet all their lifting needs, both construction and industrial related. We are proud to offer the largest construction hoist fleet of personnel and materials hoists in Europe, so whether customers need support in a solution to build the next Shard, or are assessing project plans to go safely underground, we're here to help.

With our in-house specialist training business you will be able to enhance & develop your training needs thus creating a fabulous opportunity to further your career within the UK's market leading hoist rental business.
You will be based from home or depot depending on location and report directly to one of our Regional Operations Managers.
About The Candidate
The successful candidate will require the following skills and experience -
• Have a demonstrated background in the construction hoist industry
• Hold a current / valid CSCS card / NVQ in Hoist Installation (minimum L2)
• Have proven working at height experience
• Have proven harness experience / training
• Clear communication & and reporting skills.
• Role requires unsociable hours as the business requires
• Must be flexible to work away from home occasionally, as the business requires
• Able to work as part of a Team
• Must be prepares to work in external conditions, at height throughout the year.
The following skills are advantageous but not essential at this stage -
• CPCS Slinger / Signaller Qualification
• CCNSG Passport To Safety Qualification
• Hoist Manufacturers product training
• Rescue / Harness / Working at Height Training
