Key responsibilities:
* Generate purchase orders for subcontract work
* Liaise with subcontract laboratories to ensure correct work is carried out within required timescales. Ensure outstanding work is monitored using relevant proformas.
* Liaise with subcontract laboratories regarding any quotations, testing queries or delays
* Liaise with customers (email and phone) to resolve sample-related queries
* Communicate technical information between the subcontract laboratories and clients
* Review quotes as required
* Responsible for organising couriers for subcontract samples
* Data entry in LIMS to ensure accuracy on final reports
* Setting up new dets and testing suites in LIMS
* Generate final reports for customers
* Update internal documents for monitoring outstanding work
* Additional office tasks - answering phones, scanning and filing documents etc.
* Accurate identification of samples to ensure they are processed correctly
Key skills and attributes:
* Good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential
* Confident in speaking to clients both via phone and email
* Attention to detail and accurate data entry is crucial
* You will be confident liaising with our clients and third-party laboratories, as well as with different internal departments to assist with a wide range of queries
* Excellent organisation skills
* Ability to work well in a team or alone as required
