We have a position available for an ambitious Quality Engineer that is looking to join a development and manufacturing facility that can offer genuine progression opportunities. This role will be perfect for a quality professional that is confident liaising with customers, suppliers and internally across operational departments.
As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for handling customer complaints across the manufacturing department and within the supply chain. You will be an excellent problem solver, that can confidently handle all quality matters and can provide solutions to resolve customer issues and non-conformances.
You will be responsible for
* Managing customer complaints and nonconformances
* Maintaining the quality management system (ISO9001)
* Identifying root cause analysis and CAPA
* Supporting continuous improvement across the site
* Liaising with all departments as well as customers and suppliers
* Quality tools including Kaizen, 8D etc
What experience should you have?
* Experience working with customers/suppliers
* Root cause analysis and problem solving
* ISO9001 experience
* Mechanical background
The salary on offer is GBP35,000 with genuine opportunities to progress into a senior quality role for the right candidate.
