Warehouse/Hardware Assistant

Warehouse and hardware assistant required for my client, a specialist in the supply of hardware and software solutions - this would be an ideal role for a school leaver or for someone who is just stepping into the job market.

Day-to-day, you will:

Assist with EPoS (Electronic Point of Sale) till builds, prepare equipment for installation, boxing, packaging and documentation
Test and configure EPoS peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, tablets etc.
Update software images, Windows updates, PoS software updates
Work alongside workshop technicians assisting with daily operations
Assist with stock counts and input figures into stock control
Maintain stock levels within stock system
Book deliveries into stock
Assign stock to warehouse areas
Prepare equipment for dispatch, booking with courier
Maintain a clean and tidy workshop/ warehouse environment
Take initiative and support continuous improvement of our customers experience by proactively identifying and researching potential challenges and creating solutions
Also proactively identify any risks to service and the consequences to Access. You will drive and escalate mitigation.We are looking for someone who is passionate about hardware and software and its potential to move organisations forward through innovation.
