Would you like to use your passion for delivering high quality visitor experiences and be at the heart of telling the story of a place that's like no other? We are the charity who look after 2000 miles of waterways across England and Wales, because we believe life is better by water.
We are currently have an opportunity to work at Anderton Boat Lift, the oldest surviving boat lift in England, which transports boats 50 feet between the River Weaver and the Trent & Mersey Canal, in Northwich, Cheshire.
Our modern visitor centre provides the social hub of this historic site, and we need someone that can play an important in creating a warm and friendly environment, where our visitors can visit safely, enjoy a boat trip or indulge in some great tasting food.
You'll be part of a team that is committed to ensuring every visitor has a great, memorable experience.
Working within a busy atmosphere, filled with many visitors with different needs.
Mainly you'll be working within our Coffee Shop, using your excellent attention to detail, you'll ensure all our food served is delicious and every visitor enjoys their time spend with us.
Alongside the food offer, you'll need to be open to working on our welcome desk, selling retail items, tickets to our trip boat and looking after boat users wishing to use the boat lift for personal use. You'll also need to be open to the possibility of working evening shifts in our marquee where you could be serving drinks to a wedding or birthday party.

We are looking for 2 x 22.5 hour contractors to work 3 days out of 7, Weekend working will be required
