Business Development Representative

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a leading IT organisation who are experiencing rapid expansion? If so we have the perfect role for you! Firstly you will need to enjoy working on the phone and have experience making outbound calls to new clients/customers as this role involves a lot of cold calling.

You will be responsible for making contact to new businesses (all business to business) and identifying if there is a sales opportunity. For every successful conversion of business you will be rewarded with a great commission package.

Please note you do not need IT industry background for this role, it is preferred that you are comfortable cold calling and hitting targets and you will receive training on the products.

This is an exciting role enabling the successful candidate the opportunity to grow within an expanding IT business.

Primary responsibilities

• Managing customer database

• Making outbound business to business sales calls to existing and potential customers

• Identifying new customers

• Identifying customer requirements

• Building customer rapport

• Identify sales opportunities

• Work with sales rep on customer quotations (where applicable)

• Promote product portfolio and special offers

• Promote the brand on social media platforms

The role includes

• Introduction to marketing

• Introduction to purchasing

Base salary GBP18-24k (subject to experience)

Bonus -

• Up to 25% quarterly bonus on product sales

• Up to 10% quarterly bonus based upon KPI

The role is currently based in Windsor, however the client are soon moving to brand new and larger head offices in Bracknell.
