You'll work with high profile public and commercial clients, delivering improvements to complex systems that make the everyday simpler.We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide maintenance to our buildings across the UK, but predominantly along the M4 corridor and South Wales areas. Your future duties and responsibilities You will be responsible for planned electrical maintenance of commercial buildings and data centres. You will also be required to carry small project and installation related works.This is a mobile role, so you must be willing to travel between the locations on a weekly basis - a vehicle will be provided to facilitate this. Travel to other CGI offices may be required on an ad-hoc basis. The role will also require you to show willing to operate at unsociable times and participate in a 1 in 4 rota for on call support.As you will be working on Commercial premises knowledge of the relevant H&S working practices is essential and you must be comfortable with working in a lively office environment, taking care to minimise disruption and impact on CGI staff. Required qualifications to be successful in this role You will have demonstrable experience working in a critical environment and dealing with data cabling and related infrastructure.City and Guilds Part II Electrical Testing 2391 is the minimum qualification required - applicants not holding this qualification should not apply.
