Our client based near Horncastle is looking for a Skilled Tractor Driver to join their team on a temporary basis to help with the busy harvest period to start in July and is estimated to last for roughly 6 weeks potentially longer depending upon workload.
Hours will include early morning starts and late finishes, usually working 6 days over 7 and therefore candidates must be flexible with this and happy to work up to a 50 hour working week on average.
The pay rate for the role is GBP10.00-GBP12.00 per hour depending on experience and will be paid on a PAYE basis only.
Duties of the role will include: -
Tractor driving
Corn carting
Cultivation
Ploughing
Dragging
Hedge cutting
General farm labouring
All other related tasks with the harvest In order to be considered for the role you must have previous farming experience including experience of tractor driving and use of a Fendt or Ford Challenger. You will also need your own transport to reach the location of the remote farm.
