This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our support team providing education specific governance and clerking services to the local governing bodies of schools in the Greater Nottingham Education Trust (GNET).

GNET was formed in 2016 on the success of Carlton le Willows Academy, consistently one of the top performing schools in Nottinghamshire. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.

The role will include advising on governance matters in an education context and providing effective administration support, as well as clerking and minuting governors’ meetings. These take place on approximately nine evenings a term.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work to strict deadlines. An ability to work independently whilst also forming effective relationships with governors and school staff is essential. Aside from attendance at meetings, this post will work on a flexible basis so the successful candidate must be able to prioritise and manage their own time.

Training will be provided.

For further information, and an application form, please click 'Apply'  or email office@clwacademy.co.uk. Only applications submitted on the Trust’s application form will be considered. We do not accept applications through recruitment agencies.

Closing date for applications: Wednesday 30 June 2021 at 12 noon.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check).
