An experienced QC Shift Supervisor required for this highly successful manufacturing business. This will be a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working days - 06:00 - 18:00

The QC Shift Supervisor plays a key role in the accurate and efficient analysis of raw materials, bulk product, finished goods and the testing of the medical devices produced at our client against approved specification for use in Production and Distribution. The role holder will be responsible for supporting and leading a safety culture and awareness within the laboratories and the implementation of plant safety policies and procedures.
The QC Shift Supervisor will also be responsible for:
Supporting a Quality culture in the Quality Control Laboratories programs, striving for continuous improvements, in compliance with GMP and all regulatory and legal requirements.
Supporting the initial and ongoing training of laboratory staff
Keeping detailed, up to date laboratory notebooks in accordance with our client's Policy
Working independently to carry out the tasks allocated by the QC Manager on a daily basis
Aiding in the validation and verification of new methods used within the Quality Control Laboratory
Working with R&D/Tech services regarding the introduction of new products for laboratory testing or support existing products
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience in Quality Control or a similar related and/or regulated industry (FMCG, Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals), knowledge of GMP, ISO22716 and ISO13485.
The QC Shift Supervisor will also be expected to lead and support a team and deliver work-based training and coaching within a team environment. Other key attributes will include:
Knowledge of GMP, ISO22716 and ISO 13485 an advantage
Experience working within a team environment
Experience in leading a team an advantage
Experience delivering work-based training to new and existing staff is desired
Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills
