K&D are delighted to be working with a Local Manufacturing company in the High Wycombe area. Due to continued growth our client is looking for a Trainee Electronics Assembler to join their production team!!
What our client is looking for? Someone who is looking to start a career in electronics.
The role will train you in producing high performance sensors based on PCB component builds of 0402 SMD components. The role will develop your skills to be capable of working to IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies developing best practise and improving Right First Time ('RFT') through problem solving and Lean techniques.
Successful candidates will be joining a well-established company based in High Wycombe.
Responsibilities and training provided
Ensuring Health and Safety practices and processes complied with.
Shop floor training to become Capable of fault finding and reworking PCB assemblies and hardware
Shop floor training in production of various types of electronic sensor modules to increase capacity to a high calibre
Training and developed to become competent in completion of high-quality product in short lead times
Capable of working independently and efficiently as directed by management
Using PCB skill set and analytical skills improve RFT
Follow work methods and practices compliant with Company Quality System.
Promote professional, courteous, and respectful behaviour always.
Qualifications and skills
Must be able to demonstrate good dexterity
Ability to learn new electronic assembly concepts with minimum training and supervision
Must demonstrate capability of learning products and applying best practice
Education
GCSE Grade C & above in Maths, English and preferably sciences
Any previous electronics training or knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
What is in it for you?! A salary starting at GBP9.00 per hour, 40 hours a week, 8.00 - 4.30 Monday -Friday, with the opportunity of overtime! This is a Temporary to permanent position.
