An opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager has become available at a well-known provider in the Hitchin area. This modern, well run Nursing and Residential home is part of a large successful organisation and is home to 69 elderly residents.
This is a new exciting opportunity in the area, the ideal candidate this home is on the search for will have management experience, excellent communication skills and someone who is capable of leading a team and motivating a team. My client is looking for a strong candidate that has come from a care background.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of GBP41,815 per annum working 39 contracted hours.
Deputy Manager Nurse / skills & qualifications
* RGN Qualification- (not essential)
* Management experience (essential)
* Level 5 (desirable)
* Level 3 or 4 NVQ (essential)
* Strong leadership skills
* Positive attitude towards residents and staff
* Able to work in a team and individually
* Ability to prioritise tasks and time manage
* Ability to lead and motivate staff teams
* Willingness to be trained and developed
* Flexible approach to work
* Computer literate with experience of word-processing/ spreadsheets/databases/e-mail
