Source Recruit have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical PA to join a well-established clinic on a Permanent full - time basis.

You need to possess the ability to work in a team and as an individual to deliver high quality patient care. Fast forward thinking and prioritisation skills are essential.

Main Responsibities and Duties:

1. Accurately type clinical correspondence, medical reports etc. for allocated GP(s)

2. Assisting the Patient Services team with answering the telephone and dealing with queries as per the organisations protocol

3. Liaising with Consultant personal assistants to manage timely referrals.

4. Receive telephone messages and queries and deal with them efficiently.

5. Take card payments from patients.

6. Update the log to manage the flow of referrals etc.

7. Documenting in the patient's records and ensuring an accurate record of actions and follow up.

8. Assist allocated GP with an audit requirements and data searching.

9. Follow up with assigned GPs on Reporting ensuring the spreadsheet is completed in a timely manner before the clinical meetings each week.

10. Ensure all compliance requirements are up to date including policies and training requirements, and the completion of minor incident spreadsheets as required.

Essential Skills / Experience Required:

* Must have recent experience of working as medical secretary/PA

* Educational achievement to at least GCSE (or equivalent) including English Language and Maths

* At least 4 years customer service and administration experience

* Computer literate, able to use a range of software programmes including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The ability to learn new IT software quickly (with training)

* Excellent communication skills

* Excellent organisational skills

* Good keyboarding skills

* Ability to think laterally and find solutions to problems

* Excellent attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

* Proven experience or the ability to build relationships with GPs, patients, and consultants

* An understanding of the private sector, even if not worked within it.

* Client/Customer facing

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 17:00pm inclusive of 30 min unpaid break


GBP23,000 - GBP25,000 per annum - dependent on experience
