Aliaxis UK, a highly renowned and successful global manufacturer of plastic pipe systems to the construction and utilities sectors are now seeking Manufacturing Team Leaders to join their busy manufacturing/production/extrusion environment based in Lenham, Kent.

The position is offered on a three shift pattern basis.

About the role???

Manufacturing Team Leaders will have responsibility for supporting the businesses strategic objectives, improving quality and performance and ensuring a constant adherence to Health and Safety policies. Team Leaders will also enable the effective running of the cells to ensure the supply of all orders to customers are completed to the customers specification and delivered on time, through the implementation of clear processes and developing a highly skilled and motivated team.

The Team Leaders will also drive process and systems improvement within the Cell and ensure a high level of communication both internally and externally.

About you???

This position will suit an experienced Team Leader looking to apply their skills from a similar production/manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will need to have at least 1 years experience in a leadership role, be highly self motivated, have the ability to make decisions autonomously and will also need to evidence:

?? High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office

?? Proven experience with Health and Safety processes

?? Articulate written and verbal communication skills

?? Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills

?? Ability to relate to and communicate with senior management

?? Friendly and positive personality with the ability to relate to and communicate with internal and external customers at all levels, either individually or in groups

?? Ability to be a strong team player in a demanding situation

?? A mature approach and professional presentation

?? Proven experience in facilitating team development and performance measurement

?? Ability to work flexible hours.

?? Proven experience in operating in a cross functional team to deliver a common goal

?? Problem solving ability

?? Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools
