Monday to Friday Shifts (Days/Afternoons)
Week 1 - 6am to 2pm
Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm
Due to significant investment in new machinery, my client, a Market leading manufacturing company is seeking to bolster its Engineering team. Manufacturing an array of products from their site they supply into major markets across the globe. This opportunity offers great security and stability for the right candidate. With progressive training and development these roles also allow promotion in the longer term, whilst being supported by a friendly and welcoming team.
**Purpose of the role**
To effectively produce components using the CNC machine in accordance with the job specification/drawing and works order.
**Responsibilities**
* Create or modify programmes to manufacture components to meet required specifications
* Manufacture the component to production deadlines using CNC or manual lathes, ensuring the machines are operated safely and that the appropriate checks have been carried out
* Ensure that the completed component is checked against the specification, is de-burred and engraved and blasted as required
* Store any new programmes correctly for future access
* Pass completed component and documentation to Team Leader
* Manufacture jigs and fixtures to aid the machining of components
* Follow the machine maintenance schedule in accordance with the operators manual
