Main purpose of the role:

You will work to assist the development and delivery of solutions to meet the people needs of the business. The role will typically involve working with middle managers within the business and requires both HR and business understanding, you will provide sound technical advice and expertise You will be responsible for providing an excellent HR Advisory service that will assist in the delivery of the HR strategy throughout the business. Whilst dealing with a variety of case work and offering consistent advice and guidance in line with HR Policy and Process you will support the Group HR Manager to deliver on business as usual and HR change initiatives and/or projects Role holders will be individual contributors working within parameters set by others The organisation should be promoted as an "Employer of Choice"

Activities/Main Duties:

Proactively builds relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and actively contributes at team meetings to assist business decision making ensuring solutions and service delivery supports business success

?? Works closely with middle/senior managers to ensure support, resources and correct skills are aligned to needs and business delivery

?? Manages complex employee relations such as absence, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters.

?? Produces relevant and meaningful HR MI for middle managers and provides feedback on patterns/trends to ensure continuous business improvement

?? Supports the Group HR Manager to provide longer term analysis and interpretation of the business implications of HR data/performance indicators and assists in developing and implementing where appropriate corrective action

?? Assist the Group HR Manager to ensure defined business HR metrics are referenced, measurable, relevant and timely for key stakeholders

?? Supports the development and introduction of new and existing policies, procedures and processes for HR in line with legislation

?? Provides expert advice to middle/senior managers on the interpretation of new and existing policies, procedures and processes

?? Works with middle/senior managers, assisting in coaching and advising on people issues

?? Deals with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills

?? Manages priorities between casework and projects

?? Works closely with H + S, Payroll, IT, Recruitment and Training to ensure all employees work in an environment that drives a high performance culture in a compliant, safe, data and people centric manner

?? Acts as an HR ambassador for the HR brand

?? Works across a multifunctional environment

?? Contribute as a project team member or lead on small/medium projects to ensure business benefits are realised and to support the continuous improvement in HR service delivery

Experience

Experienced of working at HR Advisor or Consultant level

?? Previous experience of working in a customer focused environment

?? Previous experience of working with internal stakeholders from different business streams and across divisions

?? An understanding of the key enablers for excellent people management

?? Experience of assisting in the implementation of operational improvement and measurable outcomes

?? Ability to influence at middle manager level

?? Commercially aware

?? Experience of working cross functionally

?? Good IT skills: Excel, Word,

?? Full driving licence

Qualifications

?? Educated to degree level or equivalent

?? Clean driving licence

?? Working towards CIPD qualification and/or equivalent
