The Role
We are looking for a talented, passionate and driven User Interface Designer, who loves to solve problems with their creativity. As Igloo Energy's UI Designer you will help us create amazing customer experiences that are simple to use, exceed customer needs and stand out in a crowded energy market. You will have always put the user first in every decision you make and recognise how it will impact their experience.
You will be collaborating with UX designers to turn wireframes into polished designs, whilst partnering with product and engineering colleagues to build your designs. You will design digital interfaces and micro-interactions for web and mobile app so our brand is translated and elevated through brilliant design.
What We're Looking For
* You always put the user first and can identify where, how and why design can add value to a project
* You are super organised and work with little direction
* You love collaborating with other designers and work well in a team to create the best outcome
* Are happy to actively give constructive feedback on design work and requirements
* Proven UI experience in both websites and mobile design (responsive/mobile first)
* Portfolio of relevant UI design work from shipped products/ apps/ services
* Experience in creating pixel perfect designs from wireframes, storyboards using brand guidelines
* Proficiency in conventional design tools Sketch, Photoshop, Figma and Illustrator
* Knowledge of HTML and CSS would be neat, but not a game changer!
* It would be pretty awesome if you had experience of using rapid prototyping tools like Invision or Principle, but no means essential!
* You are enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in all types of creative projects a design team takes on when required, even if something isn't your specialism
