HR Coordinator - Staffordshire Moorlands salary up to GBP26k per annum
Appointments are supporting a global leader in the design, engineering sector in finding a HR Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast paced organisation completing a variety of HR tasks.
The Role
You will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager and be the first point of contact for Production Managers and Supervisors in relation to all HR related issues. The role is based at a Staffordshire Moorlands sites and you will be travelling to the other sites in Stoke on Trent so a driving license and car will be needed.
This is a fast paced HR role that will need you to use all of your HR proven knowledge and will include some of the following tasks.
Forge and maintain highly productive working relationships with site operational managers, supervisors and team leaders so that you become the first point of contact for all generalist, people related, issues arising on a daily basis
Be available to acknowledge and respond to all employee queries and issues arising
Monitor timekeeping, attendance and performance records and facilitate investigatory and disciplinary and grievance procedures, as appropriate
Assist recruitment team with coordinating and conducting interviews, as required, ensuring equality, fairness, consistency, and transparency
Other duties relating to the provision of an efficient HR function across all sites, as required and as directed by the HR ManagerIf you are interested in this great HR opportunity you will ideally need to have worked in a manufacturing business and must also possess the following skills and competencies:
Degree or equivalent, qualification in a Business Administration or HR discipline
CIPD Associate Membership is desirable
Knowledge of working within a unionised workforce
Knowledge with preparation of payroll information
Knowledge with an ERP or HR system
High level proficiency in the full MS Office suite
Knowledge of developing and maintaining productive working relationships at all levels of an organisation
Advanced communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Able to demonstrate courage, resourcefulness, resilience and accountability
Ability and willingness to be flexible and to travel between IPE sites, as required
Hours of Work 8:45-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45-3:45pm Fridays,
33 days annual leave
