Our client in the industrial sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager for their base in Warrington, Cheshire. The role reports into the HR Director overseas and is a stand-alone role. We are looking for a highly self-motivated and experienced HR Manager who can work both strategically and operationally across the business. This is a varied and involved role to support business growth deliver high performance.
Role Responsibilities:
- HR/People Strategy and implementation
- Developing, reviewing and guiding on the application of HR policies, processes and systems in line with best practice
- Ensuring that the business is able to provide the best employee experience for individuals through the 'employee journey', from recruitment, selection, induction, developing and performance management through to exiting the business
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and its application, advising managers and ensuring all contractual and policy documentation meets legal requirements
- Developing effective organisation design, implementing and managing change projects
- Advising and developing appropriate reward and recognition initiatives
- Manage a Talent Management framework with effective succession management to ensure business continuity and identification and development of high potential talent
- Build effective business partnering relationships with internal customers
- Coach and support managers to be effective at employee relations
Person Specification
- Up to date knowledge of and practical application of UK employment law and regulations
- Able to work in a fast paced, results orientated and changing environment
- Has demonstrable experience of collaborative working and highly effective relationship management with a confident stakeholder management approach
- Analytical and data focused
- CIPD qualified
- Able to travel in UK & occasionally in Europe
This role would suit an experienced HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor looking for their next step. In return you will receive a salary of between GBP45,000-GBP55,000 plus bonus car, medical, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
