Location - Kent, the Sussex & Surrey borders, and South London.
Salary - GBPCompetitive
Hours & days - 08:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday. Saturday O/T available (optional) at X 1.5 payrate.
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative/Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our client's maintenance team. The successful candidate will work as part of the Mobile Support Team for our client who are property maintenance company and carry out aftercare maintenance works (snagging) for new house builders, their clients are Barrett homes, Countryside, Strawberry Star, etc. They cover the whole of Kent, the Sussex & Surrey borders, and South London.
Key Responsibilities
To work as part of the Mobile Support Team supplying carpentry/snagging support to external clients
Carry out minor electrical and plumbing repairs - e.g., changing a bulb, light, or plug socket and changing a tap, washer, etc.
To provide a high level of technical and hands on support in the provision of our service delivery and the daily communication with our clients and office staff.
Working as a key part of the Mobile Support Team, and key interface with Clients.
To carry out all works in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness.
Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation.
To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all maintenance issues.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Carpentry background/trade
Multi-trade experience
Face-face customer experience
UK Driving Licence
Package

Free Uniform & PPE
4 additional annual leave days can be banked in lieu of working overtime on a Saturdays.
Saturday working is paid at 1.5 hourly pay rate.
The company shuts down over Christmas & new year (usually Christmas eve until the 2nd of January depending on which day this falls).
Discretionary Christmas bonus
No on-call service
