The key role of Administrator facilitates the day-to-day running of the charity and provides support to the Executive Director on HR and finance processes. You’ll be at the heart of the charity’s executive team and we expect you’ll share our passion for improving children’s life chances through education. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be self-motivated, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and be keen to get stuck into improving the efficiency of our processes. You’ll keep us on track by combining meticulous attention to detail with an awareness of the bigger picture and a pragmatic approach to the challenges that come with being a small charity. You’ll also be willing to pitch in and support other members of the team during periods of peak activity (they’ll return the favour).
While we're not expecting you to be an IT expert, you’ll be confident with the standard MS Office package and comfortable learning to use new software quickly with minimal formal training. If you have experience of using Xero, that would be a bonus!
We strive to create a truly inclusive culture and we’re committed to improving the diversity of the QfL team. We would be particularly keen to receive applications from people of colour and candidates with disabilities, who are currently under-represented in the charity and are open to hearing how we could make our recruitment process more inclusive.
