Production Manager (high volume)
Mix of strong management with a good technical background.
Taking ownership of an expanding technical team, you will join the business at a time of transformation as they are increasing production capacity and investing heavily in new capital equipment.
Providing strategic leadership, you will drive forward Lean methodologies managing medium-high volume manufacture of technology components. You will be working in a fast-paced changing environment where new technology and ways of working are being introduced so clear leadership is needed to get the best out of a talented team of engineers.
Based out of a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility you will work with components that are used for technology with a hugely diverse range of applications across the world. The business embraces change and are looking for leaders who want to make a real difference and implement changes that are needed to match their ambitious growth plans.
You will have strong leadership skills with a proven background of implementing Lean principles. Lean manufacturing experience will play a big part of the role, so highlighting these areas would be beneficial. Experience of fibre or chemical processing would be helpful but is not essential. You will also be key in the development of production personnel and drive the teams KPI's ensuring production goals are met.
Required Experience:
Experience as a Production Manager in a mid-high volume, lean manufacturing environment.
Operations experience with ideally a minimum of 5 years Manufacturing experience.
A degree in an Engineering / Science / Manufacturing discipline.
Lean manufacturing, Six sigma
