Fleet Maintenance Technician - Aylesford, Kent.
Our Brakes Site Vehicle Maintenance Technician are the people that help to keep our network running - they not only love to find solutions, but they ensure that everything we do enables us to deliver on our promises to our customers and exceed expectations whilst working together as one team and having some fun along the way!
It's hard work, but a Brakes Site Vehicle Maintenance Technician makes it look easy!
The role includes:
• To monitor, complete, allocate vehicle defect primarily raised by drivers using the FTA vehicle defect VC40
• Coordinate and organize the nominated VOR area
• Complete authorized Modification and Hazzard alert projects
• Attend off site breakdowns as required
• Yard maintenance, to include vehicle wash and diesel area primarily.
• Weekly/Monthly stock check for all parts held on site. This is to include ordering and managing of stock
• Road testing of vehicles
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations at all times
• Adhere to rules and procedure regarding the checking in and checking out of our vehicle fleet
You'll have:
• Class 2 license
• Proven Mechanical qualification
• DCPC Compliant
• Basic computer skills - Word & Excel
